How to maintain your thermal labels printing and applicator?

Keep the interior, surfaces and accessories of your thermal labels printer clean
After replacing the label roll, take a quick look inside the label printer. Use a soft brush or approved compressed air spray to remove any dust, residue or particles from the previous roll of labels or thermal paper. In particular, dust from thermal paper coatings can contain metals, which can cause short circuits between the heating elements of the printhead.
Don't forget to apply some air jets to your media sensor. The media sensor maintains a constant space between the print media and the printhead to help the printer feed labels correctly. Dust and other particles that build up on this sensor can cause printer errors.
If necessary, use a soft, lint-free cloth and mild detergent to clean installed accessories (such as label cutters) and the exterior surfaces of the label printer.
Again, if your label printer operates in a harsh environment, you should consider performing these steps more frequently
